Hence, we thought that this game would be great for us during the holiday time off. Unfortunately, we only have two Gamecube controllers and two Wii Remotes, and we were shocked to discover that the Gamebube controllers are not supported. I only see one reason why the Gamecube controllers are not supported with this game, but I am NOT spending $100 for two more Wii remotes. In fact, I am now turned off by Nintendo and will much sooner spend that $100 on a competing console. This smells of a cheap, bean counter decision on the part of Nintendo. I remember Mario from when I was a kid, it was the big "thing". I am glad I rented this from the video store first, I find it boring and frustrating. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you restart from the beginning of the castle if you die. <br /> <br />I much prefer the active games like Wii Fit and the Sports that came with my Wii.
